The TKX’s compact package size eliminates the need for cutting the floor pan on many applications, and the 3-piece aluminum housing provides structural stiffness needed for high torque engines. The end-loaded design, with gaskets at all flanges, decreases potential for leaks and simplifies assembly and disassembly.

Internally, the synchronizer, gear widths, and caged needle bearings are designed for long life, high torque capacity, and an easy assembly process. The TKX has a single overdrive for comfortable roadway driving that reduces engine wear and fuel consumption.
