Beginning today as part of Nissan’s electrification campaign, which includes promotions on mobile, social, TV, smart TV, Twitch, YouTube and other digital platforms, some viewers may see an on-screen QR code which will bring them to the AR experience at https://www.nissanusa.com/ar-electrified/.

“This innovative experience leverages the power of AR to immerse viewers in the exciting world of electrification while showcasing our all-new 2023 Ariya,” said Allyson Witherspoon, vice president and U.S. chief marketing officer, Nissan U.S. “Launching a vehicle as forward-thinking as ARIYA deserves the advanced capabilities of AR to highlight Nissan’s decades of experience with EVs and our enthusiastic push toward accessible electric mobility for all.”

The Electrification AR experience transports users into a world where they can see the three electric vehicles – ARIYA, LEAF and Formula E – in virtual, interactive environments. As viewers explore each of the arctic, nature and city landscapes, Brie Larson appears in video to highlight some exciting benefits of electrification. Finally, at the conclusion of the journey through each world, viewers can begin an AR experience that transports a virtual rendition of each vehicle into their home, office or any other real-world environment.

As part of the company’s Ambition 2030 plan, Nissan has committed to 40% of its U.S. sales being electric by 2030, with many more to be electrified.
