Custom RWB Porsche Build Coming To America’s Car Museum

Public Porsche Build by Akira Nakai at Super Street Show

Japanese artist and Porsche tuning specialist Akira Nakai will complete one of his builds during Super Street car show at LeMay – America’s Car Museum (ACM) located in the city of Tacoma, Washington.

America’s Car Museum and Phantasy Kolors are hosting the completion of a public build for the first time in the Pacific Northwest of a Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) Porsche 911 during a two-day event taking place at the largest automotive museum in North America from August 11-12. Each day guests can watch artist and Rauh-Welt Begriff RWB founder, Akira Nakai, complete the build of the RWB Seattle No. 5.

Nakai, who will be visiting Tacoma, Washington, from his workshop in Japan, specializes in modifying Porsche 911s using Japanese and European tuning elements.

Considered a master of his craft, Nakai is an acclaimed artist that creates one-of-a-kind originals, winning the adoration of many fans around the world. He is also a driving force in the transformation of Japanese car customizing culture.

The two-day event at ACM will take place August 11-12, and those interested in attending can purchase tickets at the door and learn more at Super Street Show.

“In addition to the RWB Build on Sunday, August 11, Super Street will present a unique show outdoors on the Museum’s Haub Family Field featuring the best modified Japanese and European cars of the Pacific Northwest,” said Wells. “We are thrilled that Super Street will be part of this incredible weekend by hosting the brand’s first event in the Pacific Northwest featuring a curated display of the finest Japanese and European cars the local scene has to offer!”
