Chris Alston’s Chassisworks: Accessory Tri-Drive for CDS Gear Drive

Putting the Ports in Sports Car

Adding a Chris Alston’s Chassisworks Tri-Drive to your CDS Supercharger Gear Drive provides five output ports, allowing accessories to be driven off the front or rear of the unit.

Removing the supercharger from the picture below reveals the CDS Gear Drive and Reduction Drive to which the Tri-Drive mounts. Any accessories running off the reduction drive branch run at 50-percent of crankshaft speed.

The Tri-Drive features six identical V-Band Clamp attachment points; one serving as input off the Reduction Drive. It is a fully enclosed assembly to rigidly support any mounted accessories and protect the Poly Chain GT Carbon Belt inside.
