The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was designed with one purpose in mind: performance.
And this mean machine might possibly be the last of the C7 front-engine ‘Vettes, as rumor has it that Chevrolet has a mid-engine Corvette in the works for 2020. [The C8 mid-engine Corvette could potentially be unveiled as soon as this January at the 2019 North American International Auto Show.]
For now, the 2019 model is Chevrolet’s fastest, most powerful, most advanced performance production Corvette to date.
The 2019 ‘Vette is clothed in carbon fiber and wields a new hand-assembled 6.2L LT5 supercharged small block V8 engine. It has a top track speed of 212 mph and a new four-mode exhaust system that provides a range of sound profiles: Track, Sport, Tour and Stealth.
Wheels and Tires
Supreme power finds balance on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear aluminum wheels clad in Michelin Pilot Super Sport P285/30ZR19 front and P335/25ZR20 rear summer-only tires. Or opt for the ZTK Track Performance Package to connect to road and track with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 summer-only tires and a uniquely tuned suspension.
Brakes
Standard high-performance Brembo carbon ceramic brakes provide ultimate stopping performance.
• Front: 15.5-inch rotors with 6-piston calipers
• Rear: 15.3-inch rotors with 4-piston calipers
Chassis Technology
Magnetic Selective Ride Control technology reads the road every millisecond and can adjust in under 15 milliseconds. It was customized to give this supercar a “spot on” driving feel and works in tandem with standard Performance Traction Management and Electronic Limited-Slip Differential to give you the control and confidence to push ZR1 to its full potential.
