The 2017 Subaru Outback was recently placed on U.S. News & World Report’s Best New Cars for Teens list. The list considers cars’ overall quality and their accident-prevention and crash-protection technologies. 108 vehicles were evaluated for crash-test scores, advanced driver-assistance features, reliability ratings, and recommendations from top critics.
The Subaru Outback features stereo-camera technology, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision and reverse automatic braking systems, and lane-departure warning. It’s also an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick+ car.
